DYNAMIC BLUES MAN - IVOR S.K. ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE 'TAKE THE GOOD....WITH THE BAD'

The first release for IVOR S.K., in April 2016, 'Delta Pines' went straight to No. 2, with a bullet on the Australian Blues and Roots Charts and, remained in the Top 25 until September. The 2nd single 'Missus Green', kept the home-fires burning up the airwaves.
Across the globe, IVOR was receiving rave reviews for 'Delta Pines' and he was soaking in the spiritual homeland, performing his music in some of the most historic venues in New Orleans. Returning home in October for performances at the Sydney Blues Festival as special guest for the amazing 'Diesel' and, dates with singer/song writer Rick Price on his 'You Are Not Alone' tour, finished off 2016 on a major high.
Now, IVOR's highly anticipated album 'Montserrat' is in the final stages of production and to wet your appetite, the digital single release of 'Take The Good – With The Bad' will be available on itunes from March 24.
IVOR says this about writing 'Take The Good – With The Bad': “This track travels the gamut of the blues, it's a stripped back swamp stomper. Digging deep into the genre, the song melds various sounds together with trademark humour and ease, all over an insatiable groove.”
Emerging as a young singer/songwriter and a superbly talented blues artist, his dark, smoky voice and liquid guitar stylings, have impressed media and legendary musicians alike. IVOR plans to return to the U.S. to tour his new album and balance the U.S/Australian musicians' lifestyle with the endless Summer.....
Rave reviews for his debut EP 'Delta Pines' in Twoj Blues (Poland), French Magazine Le Cri Du Coyote (The Cry of the Coyote), CONCERTO-Magazin and Soul Bag mag, two of Europe's leading roots publications in Austria and France. Blues Bytes Graham Clarke said: ”Delta Pines is an extremely enjoyable set, despite its brevity. Ivor S.K. proves to be as talented a songwriter as he is a performer."
